I was lucky in graduate school because the program I picked didn't require the GRE.

I have the same feelings at times that you do. In fact, I was lucky in graduate
school because the program I picked didn't require the GRE. I found it amazing
that places like Teacher's College of Columbia and Johns Hopkins didn't require
the GRE, but state universities that didn't even make the top lists did.
Anyway, I have a respectable 3.3 GPA in grad school.
