This time around I'm a bit more educated about the system. Should be interesting to see what happens.

Elaine,

I am just now in the process of requesting retesting of my daughter whom is
dyslexic. Went through hell the first go around (so much so, there was a
threatened lawsuit from our end). Now I'm getting the "we really don't need
to test her because she is doing so well". Which is not the point of
testing her. I feel that the testing should be done again, now that it has
been two years, to find out if there are changes. The first go around, the
administration did not (actually refused) take the subtests into
consideration separately. Those were all over the map from high to
incredibly low. But it all averaged out okay (oh big surprise). This time
around I'm a bit more educated about the system. Should be interesting to
see what happens.
