Your story is was disheartening too say the least. My heart goes out to
you. I have two kids that are special needs, medically fragile and LD.
I sympathize a great deal.
your son sounds like he has a form of autism. But the rapid and
dramatic decline is not necessarily consistent with this. Hmmm...
You note a neuron surgeon. Have you tried a pediatric neurologist,
medical psychologist, developmental team? Oregon health Sciences
University has a CDRC - Children's developmental rehab Center...that has
access to all these specialties and more. Have you tried this
panel/team approach?
Has he had an EEG?, SPECT SCAN? - you mention no brain abnormalities, -
but I wonder if that was secluded to MRI.
