My husband had chronic ear infections and adenoitis as a young child.
Even after speech theraphy , he had a hard time at school and was put in
special ed.As an adult he speaks well ,but has a hard time saying what he
wants to say.He does not stutter,he sometimes in a conversation can't
put words in the order he wants or a thought across into words without
problems. Our 5yr son has the same problems after the same medical
problems. He has had speech theraphy and his adenoids and tonsils removed
and ear tubes put in. My oldest son (8) has A.D.D and when asked to
answer a question seems to have the same problem. At 2 he had two serious
ear infections and was put in the hospital for 14 days. His hearing is
normal and had no more infections after that. My question to you is were
I get our boys tested for expressive language disorder? Also , my 8 yr
old son's teacher say's he seems to have processing difficulty?
